For starters, ignoring the food, the service was great. It was a father, son truck and I needed help warming up a bottle for my baby. They happily obliged with no hesitation and gave me a bowl of hot water to warm up the bottle. Already loving em. Now.. the octopus chorizo taco... holy s***... that thing was gooooood. Sometimes chorizo is a little salty but this one was perfect and paired even better with the octopus. I believe the tortillas were handmade as well which made it even better. Don't even get me started on their green salsa that comes with it. Perfection. Not too spicy not too tangy. A perfect salsa verde sauce which I would buy off the shelf. Thanks for the great service and taco!

I discovered this food truck at the Gordon Biersch night market on Taylor Street. Despite how many taco trucks there were, Pre-Hispanic Mexican Cuisine caught my eye because of the octopus and chorizo tacos. I am a huge fan of octopus so this was something I had to try. I am so glad I did because these tacos were insanely good. The combination of octopus and chorizo was surprisingly fitting and delicious. The cheese and the tortillas themselves were perfection as well. The sauce was also tasty and not too spicy which I liked. Overall a really good experience and I would definitely eat here again!

Cannot say enough good things about this food truck. first, it's delicious. 2nd its delicious. I have never had Mexican food like this outside of the Yucatan area. which is where the food is derived from. The food had so much flavor. My husband and I started with 3 tacos, the bean, the chicken and the steak. we ended up going back 3 more times to order more. we thought, ok, we'll get a couple.. then we thought ok, maybe a couple more. next thing you know we are 12 tacos deep! The bean tacos had, I believe octopus, smothered in them. Which I was not expecting, but was incredible. The chicken tacos were good, the beef was better. Maybe just a preference. I would definitely eat the chicken again, but we ordered the bean and steak tacos 2 more times. The guys working in the food truck we seriously working hard! for hours! Between making the food, running the food and answering everyones questions, they were slaying the game! we brought some back home for our teen daughter who scarfed 4 tacos down before she blinked. She loved them! I highly recommend if you see this truck, pull over and get some food!

Super tasty authentic Mexican food truck! Just ordered the 3 tacos: veggie, chicken and veggie; fake nachos (just no velveta but more authentic cojita cheese) with chicken & chicken burrito (yes, their chicken is VERY GOOD! ) All was super fresh and very friendly service with Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, credit card as options. Loved the salsa and quick service and great spot outside or Taplands today!

We were lucky to discover this food truck at the Mexica New Year festival at Emma Prusch Park this past weekend. The chochinita pibill (seafood) was tiny but delicious. And they customized a quesadilla for us, with mushroom and carne asada, and it was divine... crisp and flavorful, the juices from the meat dripping onto the plate, tangy salsa and tomatoes on the side. Beyond satisfying. I'm definitely a fan!

Best tacos ever! I recommend giving them a follow on IG so you can check which location they'll be at during the week. I had them a few times at various events in SJ and Morgan Hill. The tacos are a MUST! The chorizo, carne asada, and octopus are amazing! The flavors are on point and just perfect. The wait time really varies at how busy the location is, but it's worth the wait! The staff in the food truck are super friendly and can answer any questions you may have. These tacos are one of a kind, and I highly recommend ordering something from their food truck if you see them around. They have other items like burritos, tostadas, and quesadillas on the menu with lots of other meat options.

Needed a quick meal around the N 1st St area and stumbled on this food truck on yelp! It's nestled in between apartments in front of a park. So random but cool! Because the truck is parked in front of the park there's lots of public street parking available. They sell canned soda and bottled water. FYI no diet sodas. I ordered the veggie tacos and was excited because it's rare to come across a Mexican restaurant that serves huitlacoche and their tortillas are hand made. First impression: YUM! I'm a sucker for good tortillas so I love the marbled blue/yellow corn mixture. The mushrooms and huitlacoche were delicious. Their salsas were also on point. I do wish the veggie tacos had a little more filling. I was definitely hungry shortly after eating lol. Anddd the wait was pretty long. There was no line outside around noon and I had to wait 20 mins for my tacos. Not quite a quick meal. I will definitely be a returning customer because the flavors were just so good!! Highly recommend.

Stopped by the Rose Garden farmers market and got a chance to try this food truck. Very grateful that they were here on a rainy day when most of the other trucks and stalls had bailed. I ordered the 3 veggie tacos. They were served on homemade corn tortillas that were a marbling of blue and yellow corn - thick enough to hold the contents easily without cracking. The filling was mushrooms (so flavorful!) and a slice of avocado. I 86'd the cheese to make them vegan. It came with a side of salsa that was spicy and fresh. Husband got the veggie burrito and was also very pleased. It was stuffed with veggies - zucchini, mushrooms - plus rice, beans, avocado, and pico de gallo. He said it was one of the best vegan burritos he's had! The tortillas was also warmed and crisped in a way that didn't get soggy. A great pick for a Saturday morning brunch!
